The Hummingbird Promise

Every spring, hummingbirds return to the flowers that nourished them the year before. Guided by memory and instinct, they seek out familiar blooms, while the flowers open once again to welcome their arrival.

The Hummingbird’s Promise reflects this quiet cycle of return. Suspended above a cluster of radiant blossoms, the birds appear caught between departure and arrival, movement and stillness. Their presence transforms the flowers from beautiful objects into part of a living relationship.

The work is a meditation on loyalty, renewal, and the invisible connections that draw us back to the people and places that help us grow.
